I found that the kit did not work well on a tiled joint as the scraper would dive in to the grouted joint leaving an uneven dent at this point. I ended up using a wash up spray mix to smooth off the surface. It does work where you have a continuous surface to surface face though.

used this for grouting and also for sealing around bath and shower - when grouting found this really useful and got a very neat, uniformed finish, also when using sealer i found that i needed a bit of practice to get a good finish but eventually gave a much better finish than i would normally get. Well worth the money!!! |

I use silicone quite alot and never seem to get it as good as I like it to be. With the Fungi kit it makes it much easier and makes a much better finish to the job.

Like the curate's egg - good in parts. First time of use I was impressed by the tools ability to remove all trace of residue from a worktop but found using it on an uneven surface difficult but I achieved good results after applying a line of masking tape to the uneven surface. Second time of use was on ceramic tiles that were neither smooth or at right angles and I found using the tool in this situation difficult. In summary, great if your surfaces are smooth and at right angles to each other, gives a good, even bead.
